Ashes Scattering at Sea
Many people from our area have shared in the joys of the beautiful local coastline and had a great love for the sea. So it often seems a fitting and peaceful resting place for many relatives to scatter their beloved ones ashes into the sea from aboard Sailing Spook.
Spook Sailing Days have been in business for over 12 years as a chartered yacht company and we have been booked on many occasions to offer a caring service helping relatives with ashes scattering at sea.
We have a magnificent 53ft Sailing yacht with a permanent skipper and crew who are well versed in this delicate area, offering support, and creating a tranquil and caring environment.
As a large craft, our yacht is extremely comfortable and offers a gentle, serene trip on the water creating a lovely calm atmosphere, making it the idea setting for honouring loved ones.
We have gained considerable experience in this delicate service and over time have scattered ashes in many various places around the Solent and the South Coast, including the mouth of the Lymington River, the Needles and other beautiful bays around the Isle of Wight; and Studland Bay to name a few.
Based at the Lymington Yacht Haven we have the capacity to take a party of up to ten guests.
As Yacht owners, we offer total flexibility and are completely open to discussing any special requests clients may have to create beautiful everlasting memories in a tranquil way and giving piece of mind to them that their dearly departed are in a suitable location.
We know a scattering from a beautiful Yacht is a very fitting tribute for any sea or costal lover and a super way for their close family and friends to celebrate the life of their loved one.
